Here is Damon in action at the North American Handbuilt Bicycle Show! Presented here is the innovative power-saving idea for the Portafortuna and our latest 29er model.
"It all started with Legos and a Hacksaw. 15 years later Damon Madsen is building some unique full suspension mountain bikes focused around an efficient suspension design. Damon is a true engineer and his frames reflect the years of research and testing he has devoted to his passion of frame building." - Mountain Flyer Magazine

Handbuilt Bicycle Show
We recently participated in the North American Handbuilt Bicycle Show February 25-27 in Austin, TX.
Our 29er
This is our new 29er full suspension. It has 5" of travel and short chain stays, 17". It uses a 2 to 1 ratio, has room for a 2.5" wide rear tire, and is really fun to ride!
The Portafortuna - A Perfect Priority
Mountain biking is more than just adventure on two wheels. The ride is the adventure. The frame makes the ride.
We build the frame.
The Portafortuna places function as a priority. Aside from all the sleek designs and fancy looks, the Portafortuna gives you the ride you want. The build of the angles works in such a way that the power in the chain is not wasted. Other models pull one way or the other, resulting in poor distribution of the drive power. The Portafortuna drives the wheel - in any terrain.
